Project Name   Achieving Low Carbon Growth in Cities through Sustainable Urban Systems Management in Thailand Project
Background
In 2012, TGO and UNDP jointly developed an initial project proposal on “Achieving Low Carbon Growth in Cities through Sustainable Urban Systems Management in Thailand Project” to apply for funding support from the Global Environment Facility (GEF).
In September 2013, the proposal was accepted and approved by GEF for the Project Preparation Grant of 100,000 USD (about 3.4 million THB) to use in developing a Project Document for final approval.
On 25 April 2016, GEF gave the final approval for the “Achieving Low Carbon Growth in Cities through Sustainable Urban Systems Management in Thailand Project”, with the grant support of 3.15 million USD (about 108 million THB) for 4-year period starting from the signing date of the Project Document.
