CITC Organized The Training On “ GHG Inventory Management ” (Waste And LULUCF)

During 13-14 July 2016, CITC organized the training course on “GHG Inventory Management” in waste and LULUCF sectors at CTIC Training room, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization. The objective of the course is to increase capacity of participants on climate change science and fundamental of GHG Inventory (waste and Land Use and Land-Use Change and Forestry). 

In this regards, Dr. Natarika Wayuparb Nitiphon, Deputy Executive Director of TGO had delivered a presentation on current situation and global trend on climate change. Other interesting topics included circumstances of greenhouse gas inventory, the differences between revised 1996 and 2006 IPCC guidelines for national greenhouse gas inventories and greenhouse gas emission inventory in agriculture and forestry sectors.

The training course composed of lectures, exercises and workshops in order to give opportunity for participants to share and exchange experiences and lessons learned with lectures and among participants. There were more than 60 participants joined the training from national government officers who engage in mitigation/adaptation related activities, as well as academic sector.
