“Climate Change: Taking Challenges And Turning Into Opportunities Through Regional Collaboration”

Climate Change International Technical and Training Center (CITC)/Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) (TGO), in cooperation with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Regional Collaboration Center (UNFCCC RCC Bangkok) and Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), jointly with the Sustainable Energy and Technology Asia (SETA), organized the SETA 2017 side-event on “Climate Change: Taking Challenges and Turning into Opportunities through Regional Collaboration” on Wednesday 8th March 2017 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center, Bangkok, Thailand.

The seminar offered an opportunity to share and exchange first-hand experiences and information related to climate change, including the latest international and regional trends on climate change and sustainable development as well as useful experiences and lessons learnt on climate actions, both mitigation and adaptation.

There were 48 participants from 33 organizations joined the seminar such as Office of Agricultural Economics, Energy Policy and Planning Office, Royal Forest Department, Chulalongkorn University, Water Resource Department, National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), Department of Environmental Quality Promotion, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Bangkok Bank, Public Debt Management Office, Department Of Disaster Prevention And Mitigation, German International Cooperation, Department of Trade Negotiations Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Indonesia, Environmental Management and Sustainable Industry, Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, Provincial Electricity Authority, Asian Institute of Technology, Bank of Thailand.
