Bangkok: On 23^rd December 2020, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO, under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with 24 municipalities to implement a project on "Promotion of Carbon Footprint for local administrative organizations". The signing ceremony was presided by Mr. Kiatchai Maitriwong, Executive Director of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization and Mr. Kajohn Srichavanotai, Deputy Director-General of the  Department of Local Administration at Amari Don Mueang Airport Hotel, Bangkok.

        TGO has implemented the project on "Promotion of Carbon Footprint for local administrative organizations "aiming to provide knowledge and understanding on the preparation Carbon Footprint for local administrative organizations as well as to support the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment’s policy on Low-Carbon city development. In Fiscal Year 2021, there are 24 municipalities participating in the project as listed below.

3. Sateng Municipality Nok, Yala Province
4. Narathiwat Municipality, Narathiwat Province

7. Bang Bua Thong New Town Municipality, Nonthaburi Province
8. Phraek Sa Municipality, Samut Prakan Province
