Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO is in the process of levelling up T-VER standard, the domestic voluntary emission reduction program in order to be accepted at an international level. TGO organized 4 stakeholder consultation meetings on T-VER standard levelling up during 24-26 May 2022 and 2 June 2022 via Zoom. The first 3 meetings were aimed to get feedbacks on proposed revision of T-VER standard from each group including project consultants (6 organizations), project developers and buyers (37 organizations) and Validation & Verification Body (6 organizations). Comments and inputs from each stakeholder were reviewed and used for revision of T-VER standard and then proposed to every group (41 organizations) in the meeting on 2 June 2022 to get more comments before making a final conclusion. TGO will launch the new T-VER standard in the beginning of October 2022.
