Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO and Thai Industrial Standards Institute or TISI jointly organized  accreditation certificate ceremony for "Validation and Verification Body (VVB)" on April 20, 2022 at Vibhavadi Ballroom (C), Centara Grand Hotel, Central Plaza Ladprao, Bangkok with the objective to honor and recognize VVBs accredited with TISI and registered with TGO, as well as to encourage other interested organizations to apply for accreditation to support increasing demand from T-VER projects and CFO certification and enhance domestic accreditation system to align with international standards.

        TGO has developed Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program or T-VER and promote the calculation of Carbon Footprint for Organization or CFO to encourage all sectors in Thailand to participate in greenhouse gas emissions reduction and CFO certification. Both mechanisms require standards for project validation and greenhouse gas reduction verification to confirm that carbon credits or the evaluation of the greenhouse gas emissions are reliable and internationally accepted. Robust accreditation system for VVBs is among the key driving factors for ensuring high standards of “Carbon Credits” in Thailand and creating potential opportunities for using Thailand's carbon credits for international mechanisms such as CORSIA.

        At present, seven organizations have been accredited by TISI based on ISO 14065 and registered as Validation and Verification Bodies (VVB) with TGO. The list of VVB is as follows:

• NPC Safety and Environmental Service Limited (CFO)
