Mr.Warawut Silapa-archar, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Ministry, as a chairperson, gives a welcome remark on this MoU signing ceremony and extend his sincere appreciation to
Mr.Kiatchai Mitriwong, the TGO Executive director, and
Mr.Supunt Mongkolsutee, the FTI President, and all delegations for the occasion of this
MoU on the Domestic Carbon Market Development aimed at establishing the National Carbon Trading platform to promote industries’ carbon management to achieve their GHG reduction targets at each of level from the region to global. In this event, TGO also launces the Thailand Carbon Neutral Network or TCNN to enhance collaboration among those public, private, local and communities in reducing GHG and move toward the net-zero emission target that contributes to the national commitment. There are top managements from various organizations, as executive delegations attend this ceremony includes, The Securities and Exchange Commission, the Siam Cement (Public) Co., Ltd., the Mitrphol Group, The Mae Fah Luang Foundation, the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, the PWC (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the Bangchak Corporation (Public) Co., Ltd., the CP Group. In this ceremony, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry, as a chairperson, attend this virtual event (zoom application) among those executive delegations as of 60 persons.
Apart from that, TGO in collaboration with FTI to enable the Thailand Carbon Credit Exchange Platform to promote the TGO’s TVER certified carbon credits trading while the TGO, as the Scheme owner and register working closely with FTI as a partner to enhance the increasing of the TVER project from various GHG reduction methodologies and others includes พeforestations to support the National Climate policy in Public-Private Partnership deployment on reforestation.
