In regards to their intention and ambition, both 2 organizations envision on significant roles to encourage and promote Thailand’s national mitigation target achievement under international commitments. TGO and SEC, thus, agreed to sign the Memorandum of Understanding or MOU in purpose of enhancing and supporting listed-companies and related parties under supervision of SEC to aware and response of environment and climate change problems through cooperating in national greenhouse gas emission reduction activities, greenhouse gas reporting including of involving in capacity-building programs. These could navigate to heighten companies’ corporate social responsibility level and lead to enhance future practical emission reduction approach and national low-carbon society target.
             Accordingly, TGO jointly with SEC organized a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between both organizations on 25 August, 2020 at Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand, Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road.  In this ceremony, Mr. Kiatchai Maitriwong. Executive Director of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) and Miss Ruenvadee Suwanmongkol, Commissioner and secretary of Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand gave welcome remarks; opening speeches and signed the MOU for further cooperation among both organizations’ executives; journalists and TGO’s Board of Directors. Over 30 people witnessed in the ceremony which will be a good signal for Thailand to enhance and achieve international-commitment targets and country’s Sustainable Development Goals.
