January 18-19, 2022 Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO organized an online training on "Development of T-VER project in energy sector and preparation of supporting documents for registration and certification" to build knowledge and understanding about T-VER project registration and carbon credit certification from T-VER projects, as well as other relevant processes of the T-VER project cycle. The opening remark was given by Dr. Natarika Wayuparb Nitiphon, Deputy Executive Director of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization. A total of 54 people attended the training, including participants from universities, government agencies, state enterprises and private sectors who participated through the Zoom application.

          The online training included a lecture on Thailand greenhouse gas emission reduction targets by Dr. Puttipar Rotkittikhun, Director of Project Evaluation and Approval Office In addition, the training  provided information on T-VER project overview, calculation of greenhouse gas emissions from energy sector projects, preparation of documentation for registration and certification, validation and verification processes, and opening of the T-VER credits account with the registry system by TGO staff.
