April 25-28 and May 8-10, 2022 Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO organized a training on "Validation and Verification Body (VVB) of T-VER on Forestry Sector" to build knowledge and understanding about ISO14065 ISO14064-3 Validation and Verification Practice in Forestry Sector and T-VER project as well as other relevant processes of the T-VER project cycle. For this event, Mr.Thawatchai Saengkhamsuk, Director of Capacity Building and Outreach Office Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), presided over the opening session of the training. A total of 46 people attended the training, including participants from universities, government agencies, and private sectors.

          The training included a lecture on Thailand's greenhouse gas reduction targets by Dr.Puttipar Rotkittikhun, Director of Project Evaluation and Approval Office, and information on Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER) methodologies, carbon credit issuance process, forestry knowledge, validation and verification processes and practice. Furthermore, there was a workshop on validation and verification of T-VER Project at “Wangchan Forest Learning Center” of PTT Public Company Limited in Rayong province.
