The local CFO project has been conducted by TGO aiming to encourage local administrative organizations to understand principles and be able to calculate the organization's Carbon Footprint. The project also aims to identify appropriate and feasible greenhouse gases reduction measures in accordance with the context of the local administrative organizations, including preparation of a greenhouse gas emissions reduction plan to advocate Thailand towards a low-carbon society and achieving sustainable development.
              The verification of Greenhouse Gas Emission Report is an activity under the project. Dr. Rotchana Intharathirat from Regional Environmental Office 9, chairman of this Verification, introduced the procedure and verification agreement to Nonk Khai’s municipality working group on local CFO project. The analysis of the organization's carbon footprint are presented by the working group. The verification team then interviewed the municipal officials to inquire about information and reviewed documents or evidence along with inspecting related organization activities. The verification team briefly summarized verification result for municipality’s further improvement.
