On 21st of July, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO in collaboration with Chiang Mai University or CMU organized a stakeholder consultation meeting on the (draft) policy recommendations for promoting the application of circular economy concept for low carbon industrial development in the EEC area under the "Project on Circular Economy Application for Low Carbon Industrial Development in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) area". The meeting was organized online via the Zoom Meeting and the opening ceremony was honorably presided by Dr. Pongvipa Lohsomboon, Deputy Director of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization.

TGO announces initiation of the Thailand Carbon Neutral Network and held the MoU signing ceremony in collaboration with the Federation of Thai Industries for the development of the national carbon trading platform in enabling Thailand to transition to a carbon-neutral society

Bangkok (July 6, 2021): Mr.Warawut Silapa-archar, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Ministry, as a chairperson, gives a welcome remark on this MoU signing ceremony and extend his sincere appreciation to Mr.Kiatchai Mitriwong, the TGO Executive director, and Mr.Supunt Mongkolsutee, the FTI President, and all delegations for the occasion of this MoU on the Domestic Carbon Market Development aimed at establishing the National Carbon Trading platform to promote industries’ carbon management to achieve their GHG reduction targets at each of level from the region to global.
